We look to our volunteer team to support the amazing work of the Community. Our volunteers work along side Companions and staff in the everyday tasks and activities associated with our Community, our thriving social enterprise and the beautiful grounds that we live in.

 

Some volunteers have been with us for many years and are valued “members" of our Community", others join us for a specific task or project or for a short period of time, all are welcome, and valued.

 

Here at Emmaus Brighton & Hove we are looking at the model used by Emmaus Communities in France who call their volunteers “Amis” (friends) our aim for all our volunteers is to be friends of Emmaus Brighton & Hove.

 

Companions welcome the support from our volunteers, who give their time, skills, knowledge and companionship. Get to know us, help us with our work and to be rewarded by playing a role in this exciting people led Community in the heart of Portslade old Village.

Join us with the soup run every third Friday of the month down on Brighton seafront. Drivers particularly welcome.

Could you host an event to raise money for one of our many Solidarity projects, whether it is for a local, national, or international project?
