June 2019

Friday 14th June 2019 Punch Needle Workshop

Punch needle is a type of embroidery using a hollow needle, you use this needle to punch through the fabric to create loops. It creates an effect similar to a hooked rug which can create an interesting design and texture.

Lucy will teach you how to use the punch needle, how to transfer your chosen design on to the fabric. There will be a selection of designs for your inspiration or feel free to draw your own but it will have a botanical theme to the class. The class will cover how to combine different yarns so you can create different effects and textures.
